© Air Filter IMPORTANT: NEVER operate your unit without the air fitter. Dust and dirt will cause internal damage to the engine. The filter must be kept clean. It becomes damaged, install a new fitter. To Clean Air Filter: Remove dirt from around the air filter cover to prevent dirt from falling into the air box, Move the CHOKE fever to the choke position. This will prevent dirt from accidentally falling into the carburetor. Loosen the two air filter cover retaining screws and remove the cover and filter.

Carburetor Adjustment Carburetor adjustment is critical and if done carelessly can-damage carburetor and engine. Before rainmaking any adjustments make sure air filter is clean.
Storing A Unit .When:storing unit for a month or at end of season, the following maintenance Is required: Start engine. Run engine at idle speed unitedly . warms up. Tum engine "OFF", Drain fuel trim fuel tank. After fuel is drained, start engine. Run engine at idle until unit stops. This will purge the carburetor of fuel. Clean exterior.of engine and lower end. Remove spark plug. Pour one (1) teaspoon of clean oil into the com bastion chamber.
