Your generator requires some assembly and is ready for use after it has been properly serviced with the recommended oil and fuel. CHECK BATTERY / ATTACH NEGATIVE BATTERY WIRE If you have any problems with the assembly of your generator, please call the generator helpline at 1-800-222-3136. The battery on the generator is fully charged, sealed and pre-installed except for the negative (black) battery cable.
WHEEL KIT INSTALLATION NOTE: Be sure to install the wheel with the air pressure valve outboard. To install your wheel kit, you will need the following tools: • 5. BEFORE STARTING GENERATOR Add Engine THE 0,,Oau0e Oil NOTE: A 20 hour break-in period is required. Replace engine oil and oil filter after the first 20 hours. Do Not use synthetic oil during the break-in period. Upper Level NOTE: When adding oil to the engine crankcase in the future, use only high quality detergent oil rated with API service classification SF or higher. Use no special additives.
HOW TO USE YOUR GENERATOR If you have any problems operating your generator, please call the generator helpline at 1-800-222-3136. Grounding TO START THE ENGINE ,_ The Generator The National Electrical Code requires that the frame and external electrically conductive parts of this generator be properly connected to an approved earth ground. Local electrical codes may also require proper grounding of the unit. For that purpose, a grounding lug is provided on the base of the cradle.

RECEPTACLES 120 Volt AC, 20 Amp, Duplex Use this receptacle to operate 120 Volt AC, 60 Hz, single phase loads requiring up to 2,400 watts (2.4 kW) of power at 20 Amps. The outlet is protected by a 20 Amp push-to-reset circuit breaker. Receptacle This is a 120 Volt AC outlet, consisting of a pair of receptacles protected against overload by a 20 Amp push-to-reset circuit breaker. 120 Volt AC, 30 Amp Receptacle Use a NEMA L5-30 plug with this receptacle.
120/240 Volt AC, 30 Amp Receptacle 120/240 Volt AC, 50 Amp Receptacle Use a NEMA L14-30 plug with this receptacle. Connect a suitable 4-wire grounded cord set to the plug and to the desired load. The cord set should be rated for 250 Volts AC at 30 Amps (or greater). 4-Wire Cord Set Use a NEMA 14-50 plug with this receptacle. Connect a 4-wire cord set rated for 250 Volts AC at 50 Amps to the plug.
DON'T OVERLOAD GENERATOR THE Overloading a generator in excess of its rated wattage capacity can result in damage to the generator and to connected electrical devices. Observe the following to prevent overloading the unit: Some electric motors, such as induction types, require about three times more watts of power for starting than for running. This surge of power lasts only a few seconds when starting such motors.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE The following chart is based on normal engine operation. Follow the hourly or calendar intervals, whichever occurs first. More frequent service is required when operating in extremely dusty or heavy load conditions.

GENERAL • The generator should be started at least once every seven days and allowed to run at least 30 minutes. If this cannot be done and you must store the unit for more than 30 days, use the following information as a guide to prepare it for storage. Cover spark plug holes with rag. Crank the engine for 2-3 seconds and reinstall the spark plugs. Do Not connect spark plug wires. • Remove the negative battery cable from the battery to prevent the battery from being depleted.

INSTALACION RUEDAS DEL JUEGO DE NOTA: Aseg6rese de instalar la rueda con la parte levantada de la maza hacia adentro. 5. Instale la otra rueda de la misma forma. 6. Asegure el montaje antivibratorio a la pata de soporte con la tuerca de sujeci6n y el tornillo prisionero largo de 30 mm. Ajuste la pata de soporte a la parte inferior del bastidor del generador utilizando dos tornillos prisioneros de 20 mm y dos arandelas y dos arandelas plana.

Conexion a Tierra del Generador ,_ El Codigo Eldctrico Nacional exige que el bastidor y las partes externas conductoras de electricidad de este generador se encuentren conectadas adecuadamente a una tierra fisica aprobada. Los c6digos el6ctricos locales tambi6n podrian exigir la conexi6n a tierra de la unidad.
IMPORTANTE: No active el arranque el6ctrico de forma continua por mas de 5 segundos, incluso si el motor no enciende. El viraje prolongado puede dafiar el motor del arrancador. Siga las siguientes instrucciones para cambiar el aceite mientras el motor se encuentre caliente: Limpieza de la Espuma de Uretano • 1. Limpie el Area alrededor del tap6n para drenaje de aceite, retire el tap6n y drene el aceite por completo en un recipiente adecuado. 2. Una vez haya drenado el aceite, instale el tap6n del drenaje de aceite y apri6telo. Lave y limpie la espuma de uretano en kerosene.
GENERALIDADES El generador debera ser encendido al menos una vez cada siete dias y debera dejarlo funcionar al menos durante 30 minutos. Mantenimiento, Reemplazo y Reparacion de las Partes Relacionadas con la Emision Cualquier parte de reemplazo aprobada por Sears usada en la ejecuci6n de cualquier mantenimiento de garantia o reparaci6n de pares relacionadas con la emisi6n, sera provista sin cobrar al propietario, si dicha parte se encuentra bajo garantia.
