KNOW YOUR DRILL=DRIVER KEYLESS See Figure 1. The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator's manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. CHUCK The keyless chuck allows you to hand-tighten the drill bit in the chuck jaws.
A WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury. CHARGER [] Lock the switch trigger by placing the direction of rotation selector in the center position. [] Locate latches on end of battery pack and depress to release battery pack from the tool.
KEYLESS DiRECTiONOF ROTATIONSELECTOR (FORWARD/REVERSE/CENTER LOCK) CHUCK See Figure 5. The drill has a keyless chuck to tighten or release bits in the chuck jaws. The arrows on the chuck indicate which direction to rotate the chuck body in order to LOCK (tighten) or UNLOCK (release) the bit. ,_ WARNING: REVERSE Do not hold the chuck with one hand and use the power of the drill to tighten the chuck jaws on the bit.
