IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 Always use your appliance from an AC power outlet. To avoid circuit overload,
do not operate another high voltage appliance on the same circuit.
 Do not pull the cord forcefully and do not place this appliance on or near gas or
electric ranges, on top of other electric appliances, or in damp areas.
 When boiling water, keep the spout turned inward to prevent burns. Do not
touch any hot surfaces and always use the handle. Do not remove the lid while
boiling water.
 Close supervision is necessary when used near children, infirm adults, or
animals.
WARNING: Keep children away from appliance to prevent accidental scalding or
electric burns.
 Do not immerse any part of this appliance in water or other liquid. Do not use
your appliance with an extension cord unless the cord has been checked and
tested by a qualified technician or service person.
 Always unplug the appliance when (a) not in use, (b) when filling appliance with
water, (c) before cleaning or moving the appliance, or (d) when not in use.
 If the appliance breaks, send it to our Service Center for examination and/ or
repair. Never repair the appliance yourself.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the bottom
cover of the body or base.
 Do not use any accessories not included in this box. The use of other
accessories may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to yourself or someone
else.
 Do not let the cord touch any hot surfaces.
 Do not fill the appliance when it is on the base. Dry the bottom of the appliance
after filling it with water and before placing it on the base.
 Never leave the appliance unattended when not in use.
 Do not use the appliance to heat anything except water.
 Do not use if the cord is in any way damaged. Contact our Service Department
for warranty repairs.
 To prolong the life of the appliance, do not refill or clean the appliance with
water when it is hot. Clean mineral deposits regularly. Do not use any
chemicals to clean the surface of the appliance.
MAIN PARTS
HOW TO USE
Before using for the first time, we recommend filling the kettle with water, boiling,
and then throwing out the water to clean the inside.
1) Pull the power cord from the base and plug it into a wall outlet.
2) Open the lid and fill the kettle with water.
 Do not allow the water to rise above the maximum level or below the minimum
level.
3) Close and lock the lid. Place on the base.
4) Switch the kettle on by pressing the switch at the ‘I’ position. The light will
illuminate to indicate that the kettle is heating.
5) The kettle will turn off automatically when the water has reached the boiling
point.
 If you want to re-heat the water, wait at least 30 - 60 seconds before turning
the kettle back on.
6) Lift the kettle and pour the water using the handle.
