2. IMPORTANT ! Prior to first using the Vibrator Plate, the Engine MUST be filled with a high quality SAE 10W-30 grade engine oil. To do so, unscrew and remove the Engine’s Oil Fill Plug located at the bottom of the Engine Crankcase. Fill the Engine’s Crankcase until the oil level is level with the Oil Fill Hole. Then, screw the Oil Fill Plug back into the Oil Fill Hole. (For additional information, refer to the engine manufacturer’s manual.) 3.
INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING 1. CAUTION! Always make sure the Engine’s Power Switch is in its “OFF” position. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the engine. Allow sufficient time for the Engine to completely cool before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning on the Vibrator Plate and/or Engine. 2. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Vibrator Plate.
Belt Tension Adjustment Instructions: 1. Turn off engine. 2. Loosen, but do not remove, the 4 nuts (40) that hold the engine (36) to the connecting plates (39). 3. Slide the engine (36), away from the Driven Pulley (29), until the belts are properly tensioned. Tighten the 4 nuts (40) that hold the engine (36) to the connecting plates (39).
