Settings
This menu allows you to control and customize phone
settings on the Settings screen.
Press Home, tap the application tab and touch Settings.
You can also press MENU in idle mode and touch
Settings.
Wireless & networks
Airplane mode: When airplane mode is selected,
all wireless connectivity is off. This icon
will
display in the status bar when airplane mode is
selected.
Wi-Fi on/off: Select the check box if you prefer to
use Wi-Fi for your data connection. The phone will
scan for available wireless network.
Wi-Fi settings: Open the Wi-Fi settings screen to
Wi-Fi:Check to turn on Wi-Fi so you can
connect to Wi-Fi networks.
Network notification:Check to receive
an alert when an open Wi-Fi network
becomes available.
Wi-Fi networks :Displays a list of Wi-Fi networks
you’ve previously configured and those detected
when the phone last scanned for Wi-Fi networks.
Add Wi-Fi network :Opens a dialog where you can
add a Wi-Fi network by entering its SSID (the name
it broadcasts) and security type
Bluetooth on/off: Touch the check box to turn
Bluetooth service on or off.
Bluetooth settings: With Bluetooth services on,
you can open the Bluetooth settings screen to:
Device name: Rename your device.
Discoverable: Select to be discoverable for
up to 120 seconds, or not discoverable.
Scan for device: Touch to search for and
display information about nearby
Bluetooth devices
