 Delete old messages: Check to delete older
messages in a thread when the Text message
limit or Multimedia message limit is reached.
Uncheck to keep all messages.
 Text message limit: Touch to set the number
of messages to save per thread of text
messages. When the limit is reached, older
messages are deleted if Delete old messages is
checked
 Multimedia message limit:

2. Text message(SMS) settings
 Delivery reports: Request a delivery report for
SMS message you send, if set to on, the
network will inform you when your SMS
messages are delivered.
 Manage SIM card messages: This menu
allows you to manage messages stored on your
SIM card; you can delete them, and copy them
to your phone memory.
3. MMS setting
 Delivery reports: Request a delivery report for
MMS message you send, if set to on, the
network will inform you when your MMS
messages are delivered.
 Read reports: Request a read report for each
MMS you send. If set to on, your phone will
send a read-reply request along with your
messages.
 Auto-retrieve: To retrieve all your MMS
messages automatically (the header plus the
message will download to your phone), select
this check box. If you clear the check box, only
the message headers will be retrieved and
display in your message list. You can select
Download button to retrieve the full message.
 Roaming auto-retrieve: Automatically retrieve
messages while roaming. If you are concerned
about data traffic and just want the message
headers to download while roaming, you can set
it to off.
