key practices that may cause damage.

after cleaning. If you leave it to air dry, a film can build up on the surface. This film will end up
leaving the counter looking dull or blotchy.
• DO: Clean the surface after each use using a microfiber cloth and household kitchen
cleaning spray.
• DON’T: Solid Surface is heat resistant, but it is NOT safe to place hot pots and pans
directly on the surface. Always use trivets or protective pads.
• DON’T: Never cut directly on a Solid Surface surface, always use a cutting board.
TIP: To remove small scratches, put a small amount of abrasive liquid cleaner like Soft Scrub
onto a damp sponge. Rub into the scratched area using circular motions first, then front to back,
and then side to side. Rinse thoroughly with water and then wipe dry. If this doesn't remove the
scratches, then it could be because they're too deep. You may need to call a professional
refinisher to remove deeper scratches.
