AREA LABEL
Reason :
Measure for black lines due to smears on the copyboard glass when reading originals
from the ADF
(To show users the cleaning location)
Outline :
1. A "read area label" which indicates where to clean the copyboard glass is newly
set up.
Two pieces of this label should be used for the main unit with the ADF installed.
Regarding the attachment location for the read area label, please see the attached
pages.

2. Change of the description on the cleaning label
2-1. Show the location to be cleaned in case that black lines appear on copy when
running originals from the ADF.

2-2. Specify the chapter in the "User's Guide" to be referred to when black lines
appear on copy.
The cleaning label is shown below.
An insertion containing the same description as in the cleaning label is included in the
User's Manual. Please find attached the insertion in question. Be sure to hand over
the insertion to a user when you provide him/her with a service part of the cleaning
label.
