Troubleshooting
2 Click the Details tab, click Spool Settings, then select Print directly to
the printer.
In Windows 2000 or Windows XP, click the Advanced tab, then click Print
directly to the printer.
■ Verify the USB port status.
1 Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
2 Click the Device Manager tab, double-click Universal Serial Bus
Controller, then double-click Canon S300.
In Windows 2000 or Windows XP, click Device Manager, click Universal
Serial Bus controller on the Hardware tab, then double-click USB
Printing Support.
3 Click the General tab, then check if there is any indication of a problem with
the device. In Windows 2000 and Windows XP, open the USB Printing
Support Properties dialog box to see the General tab.
