Preparing the Camera

Setting the Date and Time

• The Set Date/Time menu will appear the first time the camera

power is turned on or whenever the built-in rechargeable lithium

battery charge is low. Start from Step 5 to set the date and time.

• Press and hold the main switch until

the green indicator blinks.

• Press the button several times

until the Rec. menu displays (p. 30).

• Use the

or button to select

the

icon.

• Use the

or button to select

the icon.

• The Set Date/Time menu will display.

• Select a field (month, day, year, hour,

minutes and date format) with the

button.

• Use the or button to change

the value in a field.

• The factory default for the date

format in some regions may differ

from that shown.
