1. Set the program selector to [_.

2. Open the menu and select [CAMERA SET UP].

3. Select [WHITE BAL.].

4. Select [INDOOR _-._:]or [OUTDOOR ;*,'].

"*b:" or "_÷:" appears•

5. Close the menu.

For Custom White Balance:

1. Set the program selector to [_.

2. Open the menu and select [CAMERA SET UP].

3. Select [WHITE BAL.].

4. Point the camcorder at a white object (such as a sheet of paper), zoom

in until it fills the whole screen and select [SET ,_=l_].

• _ flashes and stops flashing when settings is complete.

• Depending on the light source, ,_ may keep flashing The result will still be better

than with the auto setting.

5. Close the menu.
