Troubleshooting
Message Error Code Cause Action
MEMORY USED nn% Shows the percentage
of memory currently in
use.
If you need more space, wait
for the unit to send any
faxes. Also, print or delete
any faxes in memory you no
longer need (see page 4-20
and page 4-23).
NO ANSWER #005 The receiving fax
machine does not
answer.
Make sure you dialed the
correct number. Try again
later.
NO RX PAPER #012 The other party’s fax
machine is out of paper
or its memory is full.
Contact the other party and
have them install paper in
their fax machine.
NO TEL # #022 The one-touch speed
dialing button or coded
speed dialing code you
entered has not been
registered.
Register the speed dialing
button or code. (See the
MultiPASS Desktop Manager
Software Guide or the
Standalone Fax Manual.)
NOT AVAILABLE #025 In manual sending, you
entered a speed dialing
number that is assigned
to a group.
Use regular dialing.
PHOTO INK IN USE A BC-22e Photo BJ
Cartridge is installed in
the unit.
Change to a different BJ
cartridge type if necessary
(see page 6-16).
PLEASE WAIT The unit is warming
up.
Wait until the date and
receive mode appear in the
LCD display, then begin.
PRINT W/BC-22e? The unit is confirming
that it is all right to
print a color document
in memory with a BC-
22e Photo BJ Cartridge.
Press the
T button to print
the color document with a
BC-22e Photo BJ Cartridge,
or press the # button to
cancel printing.
