ADJUST
THE
VOLUME
OF
THE
HEADPHONES
In mode, adjust the volume of
the headphones with the [PHONES VOL.]
setting ( 41). In mode, use
the joystick and the joystick guide
following the same procedure as when
adjusting the speaker’s volume.
IMPORTANT
Do not connect the headphones to the AV/
terminal if the icon does not appear on the
screen. If you connect the headphones while
the terminal is set to AV output only noise will
be output.
When using headphones, make sure to lower
the volume to an appropriate level.
The sound of the built-in speaker will be
muted when you close the LCD panel, when
you connect the stereo video cable to the
AV/ terminal or when the AV/ terminal is
set to [ PHONES].
NOTES
Use commercially available headphones with
a ∅ 3.5 mm minijack.
When you turn off the camcorder, the
[AV/PHONES] setting in mode will
return to [ AV].
The volume of the headphones cannot be
adjusted while recording.
Returning to a Pre-marked Position
If you wish to return to a particular scene
later, mark the point with the zero set
memory and the tape will stop at that
point when you rewind/fast forward the
tape.
1 While recording or during playback,
press on the
wireless controller at the point you
wish to return to later.
• The time code changes to
“0:00:00 ”.
• Press again to
cancel the memory.
2 If you marked the zero memory
while recording, set the camcorder
to mode. If you marked
the zero memory during playback,
press .
3 Press to locate the zero mark.
• If the tape counter shows a negative
number, press instead.
• appears and the camcorder
rewinds/fast forwards the tape.
• The tape stops at or near the zero
mark, disappears and the correct
time code will be displayed again.
NOTES
If there are blank sections between recordings
or sections recorded in different standards
(HDV/DV) on the same tape, the zero set
memory may not work correctly.
