Cause Remedy

##776 [ TX ] In ECM transmission, a signal other than

ERR was received after transmission of

EOR-MPS

• Record the protocol on a DAT or MD, and

have it analyzed by the local Canon office

and/or Technical Center.

• The procedure signal is faulty.

Cause Remedy

##777 [ TX ] In ECM transmission, DCN was received

after transmission of EOR-MPS

• Increase the transmission level

so that the

other party may receive EOR-MPS cor-

rectly.

•

Adjust the NL equalizer

so that the other

party may receive EOR-MPS correctly.

• Add an echo protect tone to the V.29 mo-

dem signal for transmission

• Transmit once again.

• The line condition is poor, and the other

party cannot receive EOR-MPS correctly.

• The Stop key was pressed during a com-

munication.
