Operating the Camera from Your Computer
Taking Shots from Your Computer
Default Settings
Use the procedure below to select the folder in which images will be saved and to specify the
file names.

Select [Preferences...] in the [File] menu.
\ The [Preferences] dialog box appears.

Select the save destination in which images will be saved.
● Click the [Computer only] or [CF
card first, then computer] radio
button.
● [Computer only]
This option allows you to take shots when there is no CF card in the camera or
when the CF card is full.
● [CF card first, then computer]
This option saves the images both on your computer and on the CF card in the
camera.
Preferences dialog box
