Uninstallation Procedure

Remove [EOS-1D].
If you are using Windows 98 SE or
Windows 2000, select [EOS-1D]
and click the [Remove] button.
If you are using Windows Me or
Windows XP, select and right-click
[EOS-1D] and then select [Delete]
from the menu that appears. When
the confirmation message
appears, click the [Yes] button.
Once [EOS-1D] is no longer
displayed in the [Scanners and
Cameras Properties] dialog box or
the [Scanners and Cameras]
dialog box, close the dialog box
and proceed as follows.
If drivers for other devices such as scanners are already installed, those device
names are displayed.
In Windows Me and Windows XP, the icons for the installed cameras and scanners
are displayed.

Open [Device Manager].
See “To Display the Device Manager” (9-5) for instructions on how to display the
Device Manager.

Delete [EOS-1D] or [Canon Digital Camera].
