Shooting with the FE Lock

Just as with the AE lock (p. 97), you can lock the exposure for shooting with
the flash. FE stands for “Flash Exposure”.
Make sure the flash is raised, then
choose h (p. 82).
Lock the flash exposure.
z Point the camera toward the subject and
press the o button while pressing the
shutter button halfway.
X The flash will fire and when appears,
the flash output will be retained.
z If you release your finger from the shutter
button and press the o button again,
will disappear and FE will unlock.
z When you shoot one image, will
disappear and FE will unlock.
Compose the scene and shoot.
Program Shift
If you lock the exposure and turn the  dial, you can change the shutter speed
and aperture value combination.
