3 Setting the FlashN
The screen display and setting options will differ depending on the
external Speedlite model, current flash mode, Speedlite’s Custom
Function settings, etc.
For details on your Speedlite’s flash functions, refer to the Speedlite’s
instruction manual.

Flash mode
You can select the flash mode to suit your desired flash shooting.
[E-TTL II flash metering] is the standard
mode of EX-series Speedlites for
automatic flash shooting.
The [Manual flash] mode is for setting
the Speedlite’s [Flash output level]
yourself.
Regarding other flash modes, refer to the
instruction manual of a Speedlite
compatible with the functions.
