k Shooting Movies
In the <a> mode, you can freely set the shutter speed, aperture, and
ISO speed for the movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot
movies is for advanced users.

Set the power switch to <k>.
X The reflex mirror will make a sound,
then the image will appear on the
LCD monitor.

Set the Mode Dial to <a>.

Set the shutter speed and
aperture.
To set the shutter speed, turn the
<6> dial. The settable shutter
speeds depend on the frame rate
<9>.
•8 / 7 : 1/4000 sec. - 1/60 sec.
•6 / 5 / 4 : 1/4000 sec. - 1/30 sec.
To set the aperture, hold down the
<O> button and turn the <6>
dial.

Set the ISO speed.
Press the <i> button and press
the <U> key or turn the <6> dial
to select the ISO speed.
