Spurs have deformed.

The dot accuracy position
of ink ejected from the
print head is not adjusted.
Printing quality in the
printer driver is low.
Long ink optimizer fixing
time
Measure
Replace the spurs.
Turn the printer and computer OFF then back
ON again.
Select the printer driver for the BJC-8500.
Wipe the pick-up roller's rubber sleeves using
a cotton cloth (e.g. handkerchief) moistened
with water and firmly wrung. (For details, see
BJC-8500 "User's Manual.")
Check ejection in the nozzle check pattern after
executing cleaning.
If ink optimizer is not ejected, replace the ink
tank and BJ cartridge.
Change the paper setting in the printer driver.
Adjust the print head position in the printer
driver. (refer to page 3-6)
Set printing quality to higher grade in the
printer driver.
Check "Pause Page" in Maintenance on the
printer driver. (refer to page 3-19)
