■ Envelopes
• Use only US Commercial #10 or European DL envelopes with this printer.
• Before loading an envelope in the printer, crease the edges if they are not
perfectly square, and bend the envelope opposite to the direction of the curl if
it is curled.
• If an envelope does not feed smoothly, use a pen
or other flat object to crease the leading edge of
the envelope.
• To prevent feed problems, do not use self-
sealing envelopes.
• Do not attempt to feed an envelope that has been heavily embossed or treated
with any type of special coating or coloring.
Press down the flaps.
