carriage or carriage guide frame. scratching or bending

carriage shaft, etc.

Move the carriage by hand and check that it moves

smoothly and there is no abnormal noise.

Replace carriage motor

While the power is on. press the cartridge button and

remove the

cartridge. Move the carriage home

position sensor by hand and check.

Home position sensor is faulty
