USES
For new or previously painted, polyurethaned or varnished cabinets and shelving, wood trim, furniture,
woodwork, doors, and other interior surfaces. Not for immersion service or for the surfaces of stoves or ovens.
COVERAGE
350 to 450 sq. ft. (32.5 to 41.8 sq. meters) per gallon depending on the texture and porosity of the substrate,
application method, and waste.
PREPARATION
SEE PRODUCT DATA SHEET FOR COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS
Surface must be clean, dry, firm, free of dirt, wax and grease. Use a strong detergent solution and clean
vigorously. Remove wax. Sand, scrape or wire brush (metal) to remove peeling paint. Remove mildew.
PRIMING
Previously painted or varnished surfaces: Self priming on surfaces in good condition. Glossy finishes should be
dulled. Spot prime bare spots with Cabinet Coat and allow to dry overnight. New wood: Sand the surface. Self
priming. Allow first coat to dry overnight. Sand between coats with fine sandpaper. Ferrous metal: Prime bare
spots with metal primer. Melamine or Formica
®
: Self priming. Sand with fine sandpaper.
APPLICATION
Stir thoroughly. SEE PRODUCT DATA SHEET FOR PAINTING TIPS. Apply with a synthetic bristle brush, short
nap roller (3/8” or less) or HVLP spray. Keep a wet edge. Two thin coats are better than one heavy coat. Do not
thin. Do not apply when surface or air temperature is below 50 °F (10 °C) and above 90 °F (32.2 °C).
DRYING
At 77 °F (25 °C) / 50% Relative humidity: Tack free – 1 hour. Recoat – 6 hours. Return to service – 5 days
CLEAN UP
Clean up with warm, soapy water immediately after use.
USOS
Para gabinetes y estantes pintados, con poliuretano o barnizados nuevos o pintados, para marcos de madera,
muebles, carpintería, puertas y otras superficies interiores. No se usa para superficies de imersión ni para las
superficies de estufas u hornos.
COBERTURA

superficies brillantes se deben deslustrar. Imprimar localmente lugares sin imprimar con Cabinet Coat y dejar
secar toda la noche. Madera nueva: Lijar la superficie. Autoimprimante. Dejar que la primera capa seque toda
la noche. Lijar entre capas con papel de lija fino. Metales ferrosos: Imprimar lugares sin imprimar con un

APLICACIÓN
Mezclar completamente. VER CONSEJOS DE PINTADO EN LA HOJA DE DATOS DEL PRODUCTO. Aplicar con
brocha de cerdas sintéticas, rodillo de lanilla corta (3/8” o menor) o pulverizador HVLP. Mantener un borde
húmedo. Dos capas finas son mejores que una capa gruesa. No diluir. No aplicar cuando la temperatura de la
superficie o el aire sea menor que 50 °F (10 °C) y mayor de 90 °F (32.2 °C).
SECADO
A 77 °F (25 °C) / 50% humedad relativa: Tiempo pegajosa - 1 hora. Repintado - 6 horas. Vuelta al servicio - 5 días
LIMPIEZA
Limpiar con agua tibia y jabonosa inmediatamente después de usar.

USE COMPLETELY OR DISPOSE OF PROPERLY. Dry empty containers may be recycled in a can
recycling program. Local disposal requirements vary; consult your sanitation department or state-
designated environmental agency on disposal options.
Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe spray mist or sanding dust. Ensure fresh air entry
during application and drying. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with skin.
Avoid exposure to dust and spray mist by wearing a NIOSH approved respirator during application,
sanding and clean up. Follow respirator manufacturer’s directions for respirator use. Close container
after each use. Wash thoroughly after handling.
FIRST AID: In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes; for skin,
wash thoroughly with soap and water. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. If you experience
difficulty breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical
attention immediately.
IN CASE OF SPILL – Absorb with inert material and dispose of as specified under “CleanUp”.

WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC.
EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY
IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH approved
respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Before
you start, find out how to protect yourself and your family by contacting the National Lead Information
Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to www.epa.gov/lead.
USE COMPLETAMENTE O DESECHE DE MANERA APROPIADA. Los recipientes vacíos y secos pueden
