Install 1 (one) 9V battery. IMPORTANT: You should reprogram your 6 digit security code after you
install batteries.
The factory set security code is: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
(You should change the code as soon as possible after opening the safe to insure proper security.)
After you have entered the factory code, you will need to turn the handle counter-clockwise to open
the door. You will have 5 seconds to turn the handle before the locking mechanism is reactivated.
SECURITY NOTE: If you enter the wrong code 3 times, the safe will automatically lock. There will be a
5-minute penalty time period with unit beeps at each 5 seconds. (Removing the battery will not interrupt
the penalty time countdown. Upon re-installation of the battery, the entry pad continues to count down
until the 5 minute penalty time expires.)
