4.2 Adjusting the recline of the
child safety seat
This is how you can adjust the child
seat to two different recline positions before
installing it in the vehicle:
Tip! If the vehicle seat belt is too short, it may be
helpful to move the child seat to the upright
position.
 The spacer wedge 21 can be moved forward
or backward to the desired position.
• Backward: to sit upright
• Forward: to lean back comfortably
4.3 Installation in the vehicle
To secure the child seat using the
3-point belt of your vehicle proceed
as follows:
 Place the child seat facing forward on the vehicle
seat (in the direction of travel).
 Place the diagonal seat belt section 6 between
the headrest and the wing 18 of the backrest,
Caution! Do not twist the belt.
4.2 Réglage de l'inclinaison
du siège auto
Pour régler l'une des deux inclinaisons
possibles du siège auto avant de le monter
dans le véhicule, procédez comme suit :
Astuce ! Lors du montage, il peut s'avérer pratique
que la ceinture du véhicule soit trop courte lorsque
le siège auto est en position verticale.
 Basculez la cale 21 vers l'avant ou l'arrière dans
la position souhaitée.
• vers l'arrière : pour une position verticale
• vers l'avant : pour s'adosser confortablement
4.3 Montage dans le véhicule
Pour fixer votre siège auto au moyen
de la ceinture à 3 points de votre
véhicule, procédez comme suit :
 Placez le siège auto sur le siège du véhicule en
l'orientant vers la route.
 Glissez la partie diagonale 6 de la ceinture entre
l'appui-tête et la partie latérale 18 du dossier.
Attention ! Ne torsadez pas la ceinture.
