ASSEMBLY ================================================================================================== Assembly Step 1-B 21 Hardware Panel 1 1. Add a wheel (28) from Step 1-A to the support assembly (21). NOTE: Run each bolt from the outside, through the holes at the base of the assembly as illustrated. 2. Add one 1/2” flat washer (47) to the 1/2 x 3-1/2” hex head bolt (32). 28 45 3. Tightly secure in place with one 1/2” lock nut (45). Repeat this step with the other wheel as illustrated.

From above, insert both 5/16 x 3” Hex Bolts (37) from Hardware Panel 3, as illustrated. 37 20 2 2 3. From the outside of the hopper, run the two bolts through the transport lock bracket (3) and hopper assembly (7). 31 4.
ASSEMBLY ================================================================================================== Assembly Step 5-B Hardware Panel 5 37 1. On one side, from an outside edge, run a 5/16 x 3” Hex Bolt (37) through the support assembly (21) and the tow bar (20). 21 2. Add a Hex Lock Nut (2) to the bolt. NOTE: Make sure you do not fully tighten this nut. There should be a small gap left between the two tubes to allow for the support assembly (21) to properly pivot. 2 37 20 2 13 3.

Slide the small grip (24) over the end of the Upper Lever (18). 2. At the other end of the Upper Lever (18), you’ll find an oval and circular opening. OPERATION ================================================================================================== • CAUTION! Avoid stopping unit with flow control in “OPEN” position- material will continue to flow through hopper opening. If fertilizer is deposited too heavily in a small area, soak down thoroughly with a garden hose to prevent burning of lawn. • IMPORTANT: When backing up, carefully back STRAIGHT to avoid “jack-knifing”, which can cause damage to your equipment.
OPERATION ================================================================================================== FLOW CONTROL ADJUSTMENT FLOW CONTROL SETTING OPEN & CLOSE: The material flow is shut off by moving Control Lever to the left and locking into “V” notch on calibration plate. Determine approximate flow control setting by using the chart below showing type of material to spread. FLOW SETTING: To set the flow rate, put the Control Lever in the shut-off position (in “V” notch).
