Material: Manufactured furniture board with solid oak effect embossed grain pattern melamine.
Metal "furniture" including legs paint in in brushed powder coat.
Installation: The TV cabinet is not suitable for exterior use.
The TV cabinet may be installed on any stable level floor.
Mount the furniture parts, never force the parts to be assembled.
Adjustment: When delivered it may be necessary for the installer to check and re-tighten bolts and screws regularly. Over time,
perhaps due to a dining table settling on a slightly uneven floor, bolts and screws should be checked and re-tightened.
Should you have any difficulty your retailer will also be pleased to advise you.
Care: Whilst the solid oak effect embossed grain pattern melamine finish is tough it will scratch or become damaged if
abused. To protect the surface:
Use adequately thick table mats under flower vases, ornaments, hot or cold items.
Be sure that the bases of mats are free of grit and debris.
Do not place heavy items on the TV cabinet particularly items with small or sharp feet that will place a point load on
the surface.
Do not slide items across surfaces.
Do not overload, sit or stand on the TV cabinet.
Never drag the TV cabinet when moving it around.
Keep out of sunlight or bright light, any source of open frame, heat, air conditioning vent, rain or damp environment.
Do not use the TV cabinet as a writing surface. The surface may indent if under pressure.
The TV cabinet should be placed in areas with less congestion to minimize bumping or edges of furniture can be
chipped easily.
Metal products can be cleaned using specialized cleaning products that are available in supermarkets.
Repair damaged metal surfaces immediately to prevent rusting. It can be done through clear nail polish.
Maintenance: Follow the recommendations above because prevention is better than cure.
Spillages: If you do spill anything on the TV cabinet, wipe it off at once using a damp cloth, then dry off with a dry cloth.
Cleaning: Regularly cleaning by wipe all surfaces with a soft damp cloth then dry off with a clean dry cloth. Smears and spills can
be removed by first using a mild solution of soft soap in warm water. Remove the soap solution with a damp cloth then
dry off with a soft cloth. Do not use strong or harsh chemicals.
Alternatively, use a little warm water and a microfiber cleaning cloth.
Be sure that all cloths used are free of grit.
Handling:
CAUTION
: The TV cabinet is heavy.
Please always lift the furniture from the bottom and take care when moving the TV cabinet.
Environmental:
When it is finally necessary to dispose of the TV cabinet, it is made of mixed materials and should be recycled for
energy recovery where suitable facilities exist. If it is not recycled the material is inert and contains no potential
contaminants.
We recommend microfiber cleaning cloths as being an environmentally friendly and effective way of cleaning using no
or minimal detergents.
