Barcode Scanner

EF500 includes the 2D barcode scanner. To use the barcode scanning function,

On your Home screen, open an application.

The contents and how to use the application may be different from each company.

Bluebird only provides the basic test application.

Press the blue Barcode scanning button(s) on the sides of your device. The

red LED light will come up on the barcode scanner on the top of your

device.

When scanning, maintain the distance to about 10 cm or 4 in. For the best use

and aim it at an appropriate angle as illustrated below.

Do not stare into the laser light of the barcode scanner. It may injure your eyes.
