ASSEMBLY & OPERATING INSRTUCTION

ASSEMBLY CIRCULATOR HEAD

1. Remove the circulator head partsfrom the box.

2. Place the motor on a flat level surfacewith the motor shaft facing up.

3. Secure the rear guard to the motorusing the four nuts and washersprovided. Apply 32-40 in.

lbs. oftorque to motor mount nuts.

4. Secure propeller on the flat of themotor shaft with the supplied bolt.When attaching the

propeller, thebolt should be facing the motor.Apply 90-120 in. lbs. torque topropeller bolt.

5. Place front guard on rear guard withdecal facing away from propeller.Position guard hooks

between ribs ofrear guard. Use a large screw driverto pry guard hooks into place.

Whenassembled, the guard hooks shouldbe located between the largest,outermost

ring and the secondoutermost ring. Make sure that allhooks are engaged before

operatingfan.

6. Verify that propeller does not contactthe guard set at any point beforeconnecting fan to

power supply.

INSTALLATION FAN WITH PEDESTAL BASE 1. Remove the base and column assembly (which includes upper column, lower column and spring)from the box. 2. Ensure that the base weight is securely assembled to the base. Secure the column assembly onto the base using the five bolts and washers provided. Apply 35-45 in. lbs. of torque. 3. Adjust column to desired height and lock in position by tightening triangle knob in collar. IMPORTANT: Do not over-tighten! 4. Place assembled circulator face down on a flat surface.

. Position the swivel bracket in the motor yoke and align the pivot hole with the round hole in the swivel bracket. 4. Insert the larger diameter bolt in the pivot hole and install the lock nut finger-tight. 5. Insert the smaller diameter bolt in the slot in the motor yoke (or support bracket) and square hole in the pivot bracket and install triangle knob finger-tight. 6. While holding the circulator at the desired angle, tighten the smaller diameter bolt. 7. Tighten larger bolt to 200-230 in. lbs.

SPEED CONTROL: Turn the switch to LOW or HIGH to reach the desired speed. It is normal for the motor to feel warm to touch after continuous operation. The motor is thermally protected and will automatically shut off when it overheats for any reason. Should this occur, wait approximately 15 minutes for the fan to resume operation. MOVING THE FAN: Unplug the fan. Grasp the handle firmly and roll the fan to the desired location.

5. 6. Coloque la rejilla frontal sobre larejilla posterior con la calcomaníaorientada hacia el lado opuesto de lahélice. Coloque los ganchos de lasrejillas entre las varillas de la rejillaposterior. Utilice un destornilladorgrande para apalancar los ganchos delas rejillas en su posición. Cuandoestán instalados, los ganchos de lasrejillas deberán ubicarse entre elanillo extremo de mayor tamaño y elsegundo anillo extremo.
