B. Mode setting.
Turn the function setting switch until the marking of chosen control mode on the dial is
aligned with the triangle-shaped marking on the timer body.
In ON/OFF mode, the power will always be on or off and the power will not be affected by the
photocell sensor.
The DUSK-DAWN mode uses the photocell sensor to sense if it is light or dark outside. When
the photocell sensor senses darkness, it will automatically turn the outlets ON. When the
photocell sensor senses daylight, it will automatically turn the outlets OFF.
The 2 Hrs/4 Hrs/6 Hrs/8 Hrs modes also use the photocell sensor to know when to turn the
outlets on and start the countdown of the time chosen. When the photocell sensor senses
darkness, it will automatically turn the outlets ON (thereby starting the countdown) and will
keep them on until the amount of time that has been chosen is up. Once the time is up, the
outlets will automatically turn OFF.
