Here the T1 board in slot 01C15 is connected to a T1 board in another Avaya Media Gateway.
4.2.2. Remote PN Synchronization
As stated in Section 4.2, connect the External Clock port on the IPmux-14 to a T1 from public
network (a common source to the main PN).
To verify that the remote PN is deriving synchronization from the DS1-C facility on the DS1
Converter board, enter the test tone-clock x long command on SAT, where x is the location of the
tone-clock board on the remote PN. In the following example, the tone-clock board for remote PN is
11a. Verify that the test number 150 is passed.
