14.7.2.2. Global Tempo
When set to On, the tempo that is stored with each pattern is ignored. When set to Off, the
tempo is loaded with the pattern. When set to Paused, if a pattern is loaded the tempo will
not change until the sequencer paused or stopped.
14.7.2.3. Sync Clock In/Out settings
MiniBrute 2S is endowed with the ability to transmit or receive clocking signals from a huge
range of vintage devices. Here’s a brief look at each setting:
1step (Gate): Interprets the rising edge of the voltage as a Note On command and
the falling edge as a Note Off. Then it will advance to the next step.
1step (Clock): It is likely the input clock has a fixed period, so MiniBrute 2S
interpolates between the edges of the clock signal to derive a steady tempo.
1 Pulse (Korg): As the name implies, this is a special sync clock used by Korg
devices.
24 PPQ: the standard MIDI clock.
48 PPQ: the clock signal used by Oberheim drum machines, et al.
14.7.2.4. Next Seq
This parameter decides how quickly the MiniBrute 2S patterns will change after a new
pattern has been selected, and whether the new pattern will start from the top or the middle
somewhere.
Wait to Load: MiniBrute 2S will not change patterns until the end of the current
pattern.
Instant Change: The pattern changes immediately and starts at the top of the
new pattern.
If the two patterns are not the same length, the current position of the new pattern is
calculated as if the new pattern had been played from the beginning.
14.7.2.5. Fixed Velocity Mode
This parameter determines whether the keyboard will respond to differences in velocity or
play every note at the same value.
14.7.2.6. Fixed Velocity Value
If the Fixed Velocity Mode parameter is set to on, this defines the velocity value that will be
transmitted by the keybord.
14.7.2.7. Tap Tempo average
This lets you set your preference for how many times the Tap button must be pressed before
the tempo will change.
