Installation Guide

General installation tips:
- Use a wet saw; can get a cheap one at a hardware store
- Use paint sticks on each side of the blade to hold the tile flat as you run it through the
saw
- Set up a drying station: a towel and a hair dryer to dry the tile after cutting so you can
install it right away
- Instead of cutting the tile around outlets, just trim the unneeded tiles out with scissors
and piece the gaps with tile bits from the saw.
- Look for crooked tiles on the mesh backing. Peel off and reapply. May want to apply a
little glue when applying the pulled off pieces to the wall in case the mortar isn’t enough to
grab it.
- After applying the grout, go around with a small damp rag to clean off grout left behind in
the tile grooves. As the grout dries, you’ll easily see it.
