Our heavy-duty replacement skid shoes allow you to avoid damage and keep smooth

control over cracks and other uneven surfaces while using your snow blower. The skid

shoes are attached to the bottom sides of the auger housing on your snow blower. The

skid shoes should be adjusted up or down to accommodate the surface you are clearing of

snow. The skid shoes should be adjusted at the same time the snow blower scraper blade

is adjusted, because they work as one unit. While the scraper blade scrapes the pavement

clean, the skid shoes keep the auger housing level. The auger housing must remain level

for the scraper blade to perform correctly.

If you are using your Sno-Thro

on a gravel driveway ensure that your shoe and scraper

bar are adjusted higher to be set up a bit to ensure that you aren't throwing gravel. If your

Sno-Thro

is going to be used on paved surfaces only, the shoe/scraper bar should be set

so they ride on the ground,
