Display at Fault Occurrence
When selecting and executing “View Faults” in Main Menu, the screen moves to View Faults.
“View Faults” is displayed only when there is a failed module or unit in the system.
Display Format for View Faults
(1) FRU Name : Full name of FRU is displayed.
(Maximum number of displayed characters is 12)
(2) FRU Location : Proper location of FRU in the system is displayed.
(Maximum number of displayed characters is 19)
FRU location can be specified with this string.
(3) Server Number : Server number that FRU belongs to is displayed.
(Maximum number of displayed characters is 6)
It is hidden when FRU does not belong to any server.
(4) Reference to document : Document name to be referred to in order to replace FRU parts for
maintenance. (Maximum number of displayed characters is 19)
“See Maint Guide” is displayed fixedly on “View Faults.”
One failed FRU information is displayed on one screen.
The bottom right edge “” display or top right edge “” display is the indication of the FRU
information available on that direction.
Scroll the View Faults screen to the next page or previous page with “Up” or “Down” button.
Press “OK” button to return to Main Menu.
Information on a failed FRU will be cleared when FRU parts indicated below are replaced for
maintenance.
To be cleared by online replacement : Internal Hard Disk Drive
To be cleared by physical parts replacement : Processor Memory Module (PMM),
Management Module (MGM),
Cooling Fan, Power Supply Unit (PSU)

NOTE:
For parts such as DIMM not cleared by the above replacement, it is
required to go to [Main Menu] -> [Serverx] and execute [Clear All
Faults] after resolving the cause of Fault. If executing this option
without resolving the cause of Fault, this message may be deleted,
but Fault may occur again.
