Adjusting Subwoofer Level/Bass Level/
Treble Level/Balance (Between Left and
Right)/Fader (Between Front and Rear)/
Defeat

Press Rotary encoder (AUDIO) repeatedly to choose the
desired mode.
Each press changes the mode as follows:
SUBWOOFER

BASS LEVEL TRE LEVEL BALANCE FA DER
DEFEAT VOLUME SUBWOOFER
* When the subwoofer mode is set to OFF, its level cannot be
adjusted.
Note
If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the unit automatically
returns to normal mode.

Turn the Rotary encoder until the desired sound is
obtained in each mode.
By setting DEFEAT ON, previously adjusted settings of BASS
LEVEL and TRE LEVEL will return to the factory defaults.
Setting the Bass/Treble/High Pass Filter
Use steps 1 to 3 to select one of the setting modes to modify. See the
applicable section below for details about the selected setting item.

Press SOUND to select the desired Sound Setting
mode.

Turn the Rotary encoder or press BANDTA , SOURCE
etc., to change the setting.

Press and hold ESC for at least 2 seconds to return to
normal mode.
Notes
If no operation is performed for 15 seconds, the unit will return to
normal mode automatically.
The function is inoperable when DEFEAT is set to ON.
You can change the Bass Frequency emphasis to create your own tonal
preference.
Setting item: BASS
Setting the Bass Centre Frequency
Press BANDTA to select the desired bass centre
frequency.
80 Hz 100 Hz 200 Hz 60 Hz 80 Hz
Emphasises the displayed bass frequency ranges.
Setting the Bass Bandwidth
Press SOURCE to select the desired bass bandwidth.
Changes the boosted bass bandwidth to wide or narrow. A
wider setting will boost a wide range of frequencies above and
below the centre frequency. A narrower setting will boost only
frequencies near the centre frequency.
Setting the Bass Level
Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired bass level
(-7~+7)

You can emphasise or weaken the bass level.
* The adjustment can also be made by pressing Rotary encoder.

Note
The bass level settings will be individually memorized for each source
(FM, MW (LW), CD, etc.) until the setting is changed. The bass
frequency and bass bandwidth settings adjusted for one source are
effective for all other sources (FM, MW (LW), CD, etc.).
You can change the Treble Frequency emphasis to create your own tonal
preference.

Setting the Treble Centre Frequency
Press BANDTA to select the desired treble centre
frequency.
