5. Releasing the PTT key will complete the
transmission and the unit will return to
the receive mode.
NOTE
Pressing the DOWN key together with the PTT key will transmit the CALL
tone signal. DR-735T will transmit the Tone Burst signal.
IMPORTANT
If you press the PTT key while out of the transmission frequency range, the
[OFF] icon will appear on the display and no transmission will occur.

1. Press H/L key. The transmission power
switches from high to middle to low and
then low to high.
At middle power, the [ ], and at low power, the [ ]
illuminates. Nothing appears on the display at high
power. The default is high power.
The RF meter shows when transmitting at low
power, and at middle power, and
at high power.

• The output power level cannot be changed during transmission.
• The output power level cannot be changed during scanning.

M power output level is adjustable in set mode (P.54); however RF meter will
not change.
