ENGLISH 1. 3 SAFETY INFORMATION Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible if an incorrect installation and use causes injuries and damages. Always keep the instructions with the appliance for future reference. 1.

Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. 2.
ENGLISH • Do not change the specification of this appliance. • Do not put electrical appliances (e.g. ice cream makers) in the appliance unless they are stated applicable by the manufacturer. • Be careful not to cause damage to the refrigerant circuit. It contains isobutane (R600a), a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility. This gas is flammable. • If damage occurs to the refrigerant circuit, make sure that there are no flames and sources of ignition in the room. Ventilate the room.

Connect the mains plug to the power socket. 2. If the display is off, press ON/OFF. If DEMO appears on the display, the appliance is in demonstration mode. Refer to "What to do if...". The temperature indicators show the set default temperature.

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brandnew product, then dry thoroughly. 2. www.aeg.com 5.5 Hints for temperature inside the refrigerator A suitable temperature inside the refrigerator is approximately +5° C. If the temperature regulator is set to a too cold temperature, the ambient temperature is high or if the appliance is fully loaded the compressor will run for a longer time. If too cold, change to a higher temperature setting.
