Softener leaks out at the overflow

Cause: 1. When filling in soft rinser into the detergent box it is possible that soft rinser may flow

directly into the opening of the overflow edge. The soft rinser leaks out immediately down

at the overflow.

2. When the soft rinser is in the detergent box, the customer closes and opens the

appliance lid to refill laundry again, it is possible that the soft rinser may flow into the

opening of the overflow edge because of the fast movement of the appliance lid. The soft

rinser leaks out immediately down at the overflow.

Measure: to 1. Covers above the opening of the overflow edge have been added.

to 2. Crosspieces at the overflow edge have been added.

Replace detergent box: no. 146142012/5 with 3 chambers

no. 146142013/3 with 4 chambers

no. 146364303/9 with 4 chambers for EWM1000 electronics

From series no. 418   the new detergent box is installed at works.
