Cooking with Automatic Warm Up Function
When cooking with the automatic warm up function, the cooking zone
operates at full power for a certain time and then switches back to the
set lower heat setting.
1. If necessary, switch on the appliance using the mains button.
2. Turn the ring switch clockwise as far
as it will go to switch on the warm
up function.
3. An “A” appears in the ring displays.
4. Next, turn the ring switch back to
the required lower heat setting.
5. The set lower heat setting is dis-
played.
After a few seconds “A” will reap-
pear in the display in place of the
lower heat setting.
The lower heat setting is displayed
again as soon as the calculated
warm up time has expired.
6. To stop cooking turn the switch back to the “0” position.
7. If necessary, switch off the appliance using the mains button.
3
If you select a higher heat setting while the automatic warm up func-
tion is operating, e.g., increase the heat setting from “3” to “6”, the time
that has already expired for the warm up process will be taken into ac-
count. If you select a lower heat setting, the automatic warm up func-
tion will stop immediately.
3
You can stop the automatic warm up function prematurely by turning
the ring switch firstly to “0” and then resetting the required lower heat
setting.
