Risk of fire and electric shock. • All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician. • The appliance must be earthed. • Make sure that the parameters on the rating plate are compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power supply. • Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket. • Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.

ENGLISH 4.1 Initial Cleaning Remove all accessories and removable shelf supports from the oven. Refer to "Care and cleaning" chapter. Clean the oven and the accessories before the first use. Put the accessories and the removable shelf supports back to their initial position. 4.4 Retractable knobs To use the appliance press the knob. The knob comes out. Preheat the empty oven before first use. You must set the time before you operate the oven.
www.aeg.com To activate the outer ring: turn the knob clockwise through a light resistance to . Then turn the knob counterclockwise to the correct heat setting. 5.3 Residual heat indicator To deactivate the outer ring: turn the knob to the off position. The indicator goes out. The indicator comes on when a cooking zone is hot, but it does not function if mains power is disconnected. WARNING! There is a risk of burns from residual heat. 6. HOB - HINTS AND TIPS WARNING! Clean the oven control panel with the same precautions. 11.3 Cleaning the cavity embossment The cleaning procedure removes limestone residue from the cavity embossment after cooking with steam.
