12. CARE AND CLEANING
WARNING!
Refer to the Safety chapters.
Notes on cleaning:
• Clean the front of the appliance with a
soft cloth with warm water and a
cleaning agent.
• To clean metal surfaces, use a usual
cleaning agent.
• Clean the appliance interior after each
use. Then you can remove dirt more
easily and it does not burn on.
• Clean stubborn dirt with a special
oven cleaner.
• Clean all accessories after each use
and let them dry. Use a soft cloth with
warm water and a cleaning agent.
• If you have nonstick accessories, do
not clean them using aggressive
agents, sharp-edged objects or a dish-
washer. It can cause damage to the
nonstick coating.
12.1 Steam Cleaning

Remove as much dirt as possible
manually.
CAUTION!
For a better performance you
should start the Steam Cleaning
function when the appliance is
cool. Check the residual heat.
Remove the shelf support to
clean the side walls.

Put 400 ml of water mixed with 3 ta-
blespoons of vinegar directly into
the steam generator.

Activate the Steam Cleaning func-
tion in the main menu. The duration
of the function is approximately 33
minutes.

An acoustic signal sounds when the
programme is completed. Touch the
sensor field to deactivate the signal.
5.
Wipe the internal surface of the ap-
pliance with a soft sponge. You can
use warm water from the steam gen-
erator.
Do not use the sponge provided
with the appliance.
6.
Remove the remaining water from
the steam generator.
7.
After cleaning keep the appliance
door open for approximately 1 hour.
Wait until the appliance is dry.
You can get maximum effects of
the Steam Cleaning function if
you manually clean the appliance
immediately after the Steam
Cleaning function ends.
When the Steam Cleaning func-
tion is active, the lamp is off.
Always use the Steam Cleaning
function after cooking with
steam.
Use the Steam Cleaning function
two times if the level of dirt is
high. Make sure that the appli-
ance is cool before you activate
the second cycle.
12.2 Shelf supports
You can remove the shelf supports to
clean the side walls before activating the
Steam Cleaning function.
