9.3 Troubleshooting
NOTE: Fusion Wideband has no user-serviceable parts. Faulty or failed
units are fully replaceable through TE.
Sources of potential problems include:
Faulty cabling/connector
Malfunction of one or more Fusion Wideband components
Antenna, base station, or repeater problem
External RF interface
Tripped circuit breaker
Equipment is not grounded
Using an Ethernet crossover cable that does not support full hardware handshaking
when using AdminBrowser
NOTE: Faulty cabling is the cause of a vast majority of problems. All CATV 75
Ohm cable should be tested to TIA-570-B specifications. The RAU will be damaged
if the cable connector is not installed properly.
You must use AdminBrowser for troubleshooting the system, use the LEDs only as
backup or for confirmation.

Please provide the following information:
Serial number of the unit
Description of the problem
Using AdminBrowser 1.00, access Special Features, then the Get Service
Information window. Save and email this file to TE.
What is the length of the CATV cable? What type is it (for example RG-6)?
Status of the LEDs on the unit
Was the unit power cycled?
