Hinge Shims
Fits 3½" standard hinges
10 hinge shims. Each shim adjusts up to

1.
On the doorjamb hinge plate, remove
the top & bottom screws and back
out the middle screws about 1/4" to
create space to insert the hinge shim
as shown.
2.
On the knuckle side of the hinge,
insert the shim to achieve desired
adjustment as shown. Align the shim
spaces with screw holes. Insert and
tighten screws to secure the hinge.
Optional: Hinge shims can be cut to size
with scissors to ensure an accurate fit.
If 1/16" is too thick, cut along the length
of the shim to the desired thickness
as shown.
