The Whirlwind IMP 2 is a premium direct box that converts a line or instrument level unbalanced signal to low impedance balanced mic level. The IMP 2, like the other Whirlwind direct boxes, is made in the USA at Whirlwind's facility in Rochester, NY. The IMP 2 passive direct box has parallel 1/4" input/outputs with a male XLR output.
