MTX built their Signature Series speakers to give you great sound. Period. The SS7 component system begins with the 6-1/2" woofer, which features a glass fiber/paper cone housed in a non-resonant cast-aluminum basket for maximum accuracy. The cone's stiffness-to-weight ratio allows the woofers to deliver strong output, even when you're using a smaller amp or your car stereo's built-in power. You can mount the system's water-resistant teteron tweeters inside door panels or pillars without worry about moisture damage. This rugged 6-1/2" woofer is ready to rock. MTX designed the system's 2-way crossover for ease of installation, with pre-wired connections for the woofer and tweeter. Its small size allows a variety of mounting options. You can choose between two tweeter levels (flat and -3 dB) so the highs will be balanced with the rest of your music.
