A single function knob makes operation simple. Larger than most, the 27-ounce (0.8-liter) plastic water tank lifts out the top for easy filling, or can even be filled during operation, and provides enough water for constant steaming. Ground coffee is measured and tamped into the shallow metal filter with the provided plastic spoon. While the machine makes only one cup of espresso at a time, the used grounds can be quickly emptied (a latch keeps the metal filter attached to the arm) and refilled for the next cup.
