Grado's fourth-generation RS2x headphones sound as good as they look. Their on-ear design uses unique bi-wood earcups, tuned and matched drivers, and an improved magnet structure to deliver vibrant, engaging sound. They also received some comfort and style upgrades on their headband. These headphones use new 44mm X Series drivers. They're matched within 0.5dB of each other for improved soundstaging and imaging. And they were also tuned by Grado to make sure they sound great in the RS2x's new bi-wood driver housing. Compared to previous Grado drivers, the ones found in X Series headphones use a more powerful magnetic circuit for tighter driver control, a lighter voice coil for higher efficiency, and a reconfigured "de-stressed" diaphragm for better detail at lower volume levels.
