The BOYA BY-BM3032 Supercardioid Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone is a lightweight, compact condenser microphone designed to deliver improved sound quality for YouTube clips, interviews, vlogs, and other video applications with DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The mic is constructed from ABS plastic and features an integrated shockmount to absorb noise-causing vibrations. The shockmount attaches directly to your camera's shoe mount and also features a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom to accommodate tripods and other mounting options. Two AA batteries power the mic for up to 30 hours. The BY-BM3032 features a supercardioid polar pattern that focuses audio capture tightly in front of the microphone, picking up substantially less background sound than the omnidirectional mic built into the camera.
